Infrastructure Engineer/Sr. Systems Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain datacenter physical presence.
- Implement, manage, and maintain SAN and NAS systems (NetApp and Hitachi)
- Implement, manage, and maintain server hardware and operating systems (Linux/Solaris)
- Manage and maintain applications, application servers, and database servers.
Qualifications Requirements:
- Working experience in mid-to-large size production customer facing platforms.
- Experience in building and managing system automation, monitoring, and management.
- Expert knowledge of Linux and hardware
- Expert knowledge of SAN storage and switching
- Working knowledge of Java application server (Weblogic preferred)
- Working knowledge of Oracle database server
- Strong knowledge of data networking (Firewalls and Load balancers)
- Experience in scripting for automation
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to be on call
- Ability for quarterly travel to datacenters.
Qualification Pluses:
- Previous working in financial services industry
- Previous work in SaaS industry.
- Experience with Xen or VMWare virtualization.
