Manager, Product Marketing and Strategy

Job Description:

  • Work closely with sales and account teams to deliver on client/prospect needs, and to identify opportunities for client optimization and overall growth in adoption of products
  • Identify opportunities to optimize usage and usability of Popmoney; leverage performance tracking, analytics , competitive analysis, customer feedback and overall industry and market trends to drive product enhancements
  • Drive roll out of product enhancements, partnering with key functions across the organization
  • Manage TransferNow product roadmap and feature roll out
  • Drive usage and usability of CashEdge’s retail products via: client engagement strategies, sales support efforts, end user analytics, and product optimization strategies
    • Develop/ refine value proposition of products. Create new sales collateral in partnership with marketing (e.g., keep Popmoney materials “fresh” and create additional materials as needed, new TransferNow sales presentation, flash demos, etc.)
    • Participate in client reviews: analyze and prepare metrics and benchmarking reports, recommend strategies to optimize performance – TransferNow and Popmoney
    • Track performance and analytics across products
    • Monitor competitive/ industry trends, to drive product roadmaps
  • Drive roll-out of new features and enhancements to Popmoney
    • Lead efforts to ensure successful product rollouts with new clients and products
    • Work closely with key internal teams to ensure that roadmap items are delivered in timely process, and map to business requirements
    • Define and lead initiatives to fix product gaps
  • Manage TransferNow roadmap and feature roll out, with primary near-term focus on UI redesign
    • TransferNow UI Redesign
    • Work closely with product management on UI redesign; ensure that business requirements and client feedback are captured throughout process
    • Partner with key internal teams to create rollout strategy
    • Roll out new UI to clients in partnership with account team
    • Track usage and performance; drive usability improvements as needed
    • Evaluate, recommend, size other TransferNow roadmap opportunities (email conversion to HTML, new email triggers, support for new account types, TD via debit, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage product strategy and direction, from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by leveraging customer feedback, marketing and industry trends, and product performance metrics. Create business cases.
  • Define business requirements and go-to-market plan for new features and functionality. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive successful execution.
  • Define product value proposition and positioning.
  • Support channel partners with sales collateral, best practices, reporting, and training

Qualifications Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to interpret data to drive business decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment, and to handle many assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, sales support and management skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing or launching products/services.
  • Forward-thinking, strategic skills.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships across organization, and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 5+ years of product marketing/management experience or consulting experience.
  • Knowledgeable in technology, particularly in payments or online/mobile banking space.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field. MBA preferred.
